Newborn sessions are ideally done between 7-21 days after baby’s arrival
* This does not apply to preemie babies.
Newborn sessions are customized specifically to your preferences. We will discuss ideas on which posing you would like , colors you would to incorporate and the props you would like to use.

How to prepare for my Newborns session?

Please make sure you give baby a long feed before heading out to your session.

Please make sure you bring baby in a sleeper (buttons or zipper) for easy transition to wrapped poses.

Please make sure you bring extra food for baby (pumped milk or formula AND make sure you bring a pacifier.

We usually get close ups of your hands with baby's feet and hands so we recommend you get a manicure a day or two before your photo shoot. If you don't get a chance to get a manicure, please make sure you remove chipped nail polish.

Don't forget to take care of yourself on session day! Keep yourself hydrated and make sure you eat or have snacks with you to eat in studio.

The studio can get quite warm to keep baby happy and sleepy so we recommend you wear layers of clothes so that you can easily remove some clothing when it gets too hot.

The experience - what to expect
Step #1
Contact us- We’ll answer all of your questions and learn about you and what you envision for your session. This is also the time to pay your deposit and go on our schedule. For newborn sessions, we use the due date to put you in our schedule and contact you to check in if baby arrived. Once your little one arrives and we book your session date and time, you will then receive a prep guide for your session.
Step #2
Your session day is here! This is the best part where we get to capture those magical moments for you! We LOVE taking family and sibling photos , capture the bond between parents and baby and family members with the new addition. Your session day is when you pay the balance for the package you have selected + any add-ons you added to your package during your session.
Step #3
Post session- Within 3 days after your session you will receive a link to your password protected online gallery where you will see the proofs of your beautiful photos we have taken during your session. The images in the gallery are only touched up and you will choose the photos included in your package you would like us to edit for you. At this stage you can also purchase add-ons like extra edited images, digital background photos, touched up gallery images, prints, wall art or albums. Once you have selected your images for editing and paid for any add-ons you added to your package, you can then select 1 of your images to be edited within a couple of days while the remaining images you selected will be edited and delivered to you via downloadable link within 3 weeks.
Step #4
Prints, wall art and albums- If you purchased prints, wall art or albums we will contact you within a couple of days after you received and downloaded your edited digital images. We will then schedule a consultation and process your order through a professional printing lab that caters specifically to professional photographers. Once your order is in, we will contact you and arrange a delivery of your beautiful products!
